New Moots

The first ride on the new moots was chilly. Forty, but windy and cold. The bike on the other hand is hhhhhhhhot. The campy 11 is f'ing awesome. The hoods are a nice fit. The bike handles great. It is snappy without being too stiff. Just what ti usually promises. I had a Litespeed a few years back and I just couldn't love it. I tried, just didn't. This bike rides immediately better than the Litespeed and the Merckx. Those two bikes had a dead feel. My Cannondale Caad 7 and Six13 both road better than the LS and Merckx. Cannondale six13 was a little too flexy. The best riding road bikes that I have had so far are. Independent Fabrication 1997 w/ Campy corus 1st generation 9spd, Cannondale Caad 7 Campy record 10spd, and now my new love, Moots Compact Campy Super Record 1st generation 11spd.

SWEET MOOTS! ... and Campy 11 to boot! I'd love to have a Moots road bike in my fleet, but I will need to win the lottery. I have a Moots XZ 29er that is the BOMB.
