TEN DOLLAR WINE REVIEW

Straight from the Cline Cellars, Sonoma, Ca. this blend of syrah, petite sirah and cabernet franc is about the best ten dollar bottle I have come across. It does have some rivals from Rosemont Estate, which does have some quality blends. But, this one seems to shine above and it has cool looking red truck on the label. Its a little sweet, so don't start with a zin. It is sweet, but not too sweet. It's mellow characteristics makes it similar to a straight up merlot, but it isn't quit as rich as a merlot. It is a bit fruitier; dark berry? Great with a Rocky Petal cigar (vintage 1992 for the the cigar, 2004 for the wine). goddamn, I need to get back on a bike.

This is too cool. The display on the washing machine sure adds that extra bit of class. If you are reviewing U10$ wines, be sure to put in the probability of headache next morning.

Red Truck California Red Wine is pretty good stuff - better than the unassuming name and label might suggest.
