Babecakes and I got to try out our new camping gear and get her feet wet in some backwoods camping. Its funny how quickly we devolve. I built the fire and she did the dishes. We got the Hubba Bubba tent set up and got some dinner in us after hiking w/ packs for about three hours and then the storm came. We played cards inside the tent and I drank a little wine. The fire was hot enough to last through the storm so we were able to enjoy it for about an hour before the second set of thunder storms rolled in. It was fun and brutal the expression on my face in front of the trail map is the look of, "I came and did what I set out to do for the whole day and it is time to get some barbe-Q and slaw w/ some fries I earned it".

Taco Dogs

The night after tacos I came up with this dive into decadence. Take two of your favorite hot dogs. I used Oscar Mayer's. Grillem' til they're nice and chard. I had refried black beans and lean hamburger mixed w/ taco seasoning and fire roasted green chilli's, fresh tomato, red peppers, sour cream, red onion, smoked cheddar and ofcourse Speedy's Hot Sauce. Just add beer. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good.

Hooligan Racing

The new exhaust system and kooool air intake for Black Betty make her pur like a kitten. The AEM v2 cool air intake and the Skunk2 mega power exhaust system pulled about 10 ta 20 more horses out of this little beauty depending on where she is in the power ban and it sounds super cool when you hit 7000rpms. The eiback lower pro-spring kit arrived just as I was typing this. 2fast2furious.

This is Bryan the chef that fixed all the great food at JB's b-day party and then proceeded to take himself out and show himself. As he wavered in the wind we decided that driving home was not an option. He literally crashed on my couch. Thanks to all you cycling folks that came by and thanks for the support. Cruisin through the lot this little beauty caught my eye. I've had a hankerin for a little fourbanger ever since I got rid of my Acura and got a more sensible car, a truck. But, the hell with sensibility. While we were taking care of the details w/ Babycakes new ride I ah wenta testa drivin'. Well that evening I was already lookin up aftermarket crap to make it faster. The rest is history.

New Rides

Babycakes needed a new car because hers had lots o miles and we didn't want her breaking down on the way to and fro work. She is very pleased as you can see here. And she is talking about 4 wheelin and mountain bikin. If she can get me out of the bikin rut.

Yes, I'm still here. Winter sucks and I haven't been riding at all. Running and lifting a little, but I sick of it. I've had 4 different illness' this winter and I can't friggin take it. I've got the immune system of a two year old. But check out the beard. Don't forget that March is "Mustache Madness Month".
